FIELD: methods of delivery of reaction gas and solid particles to furnace for melting in suspended state. SUBSTANCE: method is performed with the aid of device including passages for reception of reaction gas and solid particles, passage for delivery of solid particles to furnace and reaction gas delivery passage embracing it. According to invention, reaction gas delivery passage is provided with reaction gas flow rate control members (in the amount of 4 to 10 pcs). Reaction gas flow rate is controlled continuously. Control members are made in form of circular sectors overlapping each other. Control of flow rate may be effected manually or remotely. Rate of flow of reaction gas is controlled in one circular passage through change of cross-sectional area of reaction gas passage. Area is regulated within 100% - 20% of non-regulated area of entire cross section. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 10 cl, 3 dwg
