FIELD: methods and devices for production of high-grade nickel matte. SUBSTANCE: method includes the following stages. Treated concentrate together with flux and blast furnace dust returned to cycle and oxidizing gas, is supplied to suspension melting furnace. Formed in suspension furnace is slag and high-grade nickel matte. Slag from suspension melting furnace is supplied to electric furnace where it is reduced in the presence of reducing agent so that formed in electric furnace are slag and metallized. At least one part of metallized matte from electric furnace is returned as initial material to suspension melting furnace. The device for embodiment of the method includes suspension melting furnace and electric furnace. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 2 dwg
