FIELD: training students specializing in construction engineering including water supply and drainage, heat and gas supply, etc. SUBSTANCE: terrain is changed by means of actuating mechanisms secured on transverse bars of frame in staggered manner. Actuating mechanism incorporates gear mounted on shaft and coupled with rod. Upper end of shaft mounts flexible disks coming in contact with earth surface. Bottom rubber disk enables building of higher and lower areas of terrain. Actuating mechanisms are controlled in the course of terrain modeling by means of special controls mounted on opposite end of shaft. Controls are brought out to control panel of stationary frame. EFFECT: improved efficiency and visual effect of training. 2 cl, 5 dwg
