FIELD: fire-extinguishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: aerosol generator is made in the form of block composed of succession of similar interconnected members. Each member has cylindrical casing with discharge openings in its side surface, central metal pipe with side openings and aerosol generating substance placed around pipe. Adjacent block members are interconnected through cylindrical threaded sleeves provided with through opening. Sleeves are screwed into pipes of adjacent aerosol generators. Free ends of central through pipe are closed at one side with starting device with ignition compound and at other side with metal stopper. Such construction eliminates necessity for usage of several aerosol generators and allows fire-extinguishing capacity to be adjustable. EFFECT: simplified construction and provision for automatic and remote fire-extinguishing control. 1 dwg
