FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire extinguishing, namely, to devices that generate gas-aerosol flame retardants, using for this of pyrotechnic composition of combustible stick, which are released into the protected area. The generator of fire-extinguishing aerosol comprises a housing in which the pyrotechnic stick, gas-permeable cooling unit, and the igniter are consistently placed. The housing is covered from inside with a heat-insulating layer of curing material. The gas-permeable cooling unit is filled with the granular material. Under the convex cover which is equipped with radial outlet openings, the receiver and igniter are formed. The igniter is electrically connected by the current conductors with the device of remote control through the closed external switch. And the igniter is designed in the form of a resistor which is adjacent to the tablet of thermosensitive igniter composition. The tablet and the resistor are filled with the adhesive sealant in the central groove of the stick end. The current conductors are placed in the combustion chamber and are connected with the external switch through the fitting cavity, which is mounted on the housing by sealing bushes which are fixed by the material of heat-insulating layer. The perforated ends of the cooling unit, which cylindrical volume is filled with crushed rock, are covered by the membranes.

EFFECT: proposed technical solution provided the increase in functional reliability under the conditions of increased humidity and explosive atmosphere.
