FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: secondary gasolines from thermal destruction processes containing dissolved gaseous C1-C6-hydrocarbons in amounts 5 to 25% per 100% of liquid hydrocarbons are chemically stabilized by bringing gasolines into contact with acidic ionite catalyst at 40 to 90 C and pressure 0.2 to 1.2 MPa, flow rate of raw material being 0.8 to 60 h-1.
