FIELD: sugar production. SUBSTANCE: seed suspension is prepared by creating crystallizing nuclei from supersaturated sugar solution (supersaturation factor 1.05-1.1, initial temperature 30 C) under stirring and cooling conditions. Stirring during 1 h is accomplished through vibration mediated by gauze cylinder filled with sugar crystals. Once crystallizing nuclei formed, further growth of crystals is carried out under natural cooling and no-stirring conditions until ambient temperature is reached. The suspension is decanted to separate intercrystalline improved uniformity of granulometric composition of seed suspension. Invention can be used when cooking sugar massecuites for inducing inoculation in vacuum apparatus. EFFECT: improved uniformity of granulometric composition of crystals in seed suspension. 2 ex
