FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, particularly, equipment of blast furnaces. SUBSTANCE: method includes cleaning of place of lining repair, installation of forms in place of repair, installation of reinforcement, smearing with carbon-containing materials and placement of refractory concrete. In so doing, cleaning of repair place in zone of boshes and in upper part of tuyere zone is performed by removing of slag lining and refractory material chippings over contour of furnace to depth not exceeding the thickness of refractory layer. Base for placement of refractory concrete is prepared in the form of circular horizontal platform. Ratio of concrete layer height in zone of boshes to that in tuyere zone is 1.5-2.5:1. Carbon-containing material is used in the form of tar-bonded dolomite, coal-tar resin or synthetic resin. Refractory concrete is placed by pouring, vibrating tampering, feeding under pressure, spraying or smearing. Refractory concrete is used in the form of mullite-corrundum mass.
