FIELD: manufacture of knitted products. SUBSTANCE: double-knit jersey fabric has loops arranged in two opposite loop layers so that at each side only face loop columns are exhibited. Loops of face and reverse sides are knitted through from single thread system. Underlaps which join loops of adjacent loop rows and underlaps which join loops of different layers of knitted fabric in one loop column are disposed in mutually intersecting planes. EFFECT: wider range of knitted products manufactured by means of apparatus of such construction, wider operational capabilities of manufactured products, and simplified production technology. 2 dwg
