FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has external metal sphere having turning in its inner cavity, polymer inlay having turning on its external diameter matching the turning in the inner cavity of the sphere, small-sized head directly fixable on endoprosthesis limb and in the polymer inlay. Fixing member is titanium nickelide ring with sharp ends between the outer metal sphere and the polymer inlay. The ring is put on over polymer inlay in cooled compressed state with sharp ends straightened. When heated inside the organism tissues, the ring buckles assuming ellipse shape entering the turning on the internal surface of the outer metal sphere and on the external diameter of the polymer inlay. Sharp ends are curved making arcs penetrating the polymer inlay body. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of prosthesis functioning. 3 dwg
