FIELD: purification and isolation of individual amino acids from mixtures thereof in food, pharmaceutical and medical industries. SUBSTANCE: method comprises passing hydrochloric acid solution of lysine through sulfocationite in H-form. Regeneration is carried out by passing electric current through ion exchanger. Anodic reaction produces hydrogen ions, and there occur regeneration of cation exchanger into original H-form and simultaneous description of purified lysine into solution due to cathode reaction.
