FIELD: organic chemistry, amino acids. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved methods of purification and production of amino acids, in part, to producing L-lysine used in food industry, medicine, cattle breeding. Invention describes a method of purification of L-lysine from concomitant components of cultural fluid, eluates and mother liquids by passing through the sorbent CC-2-8 layer. Method involves the use of strong base macroporous anion-exchange resin AB-17-2P in OH-form at pH 9-10 or in salt form at pH 1.2-1.5 as a sorbent. The end product is separated from mineral and stained components followed by isolation of the end product by evaporation and crystallization.
