SUBSTANCE: fastening joint used for facing external walls, roofing covers, suspended ceilings made of metal sheets has two members arranged on opposite longitudinal sides of sheet; one of them is strip bent trough 180 deg. to sheet plane with bow-shaped part at end that functions as clamp; other member that functions as stop is L-shaped structure whose overhang mounts arc-shaped portion and loose portion bent through 7-10 deg. to sheet plane. For joining adjacent sheets of facing stop is inserted into clamp and locked therein due to arc-shaped parts in edge bends of sheet. Joint of proposed structure possesses high water tightness because bent end of stop tightly abuts against sheet due to spring effect. EFFECT: improved water tightness of joints. 4 dwg
