FIELD: secondary power supply systems. SUBSTANCE: method provides for extreme control over power. Device for realization of given method has regulator 1 placed between power supply source 2 and load 3 which incorporates current pickup 4, calculator 5 of instant power consumed from source 2 whose signal is fed through high-pass filter 6 to first input of multiplier 7 to whose second input pulsating voltage of power supply source 2 is fed through high- pass filter 8. Output signal of multiplier 7 goes to integrator 9 connected to pulse regulator 10. Pulse regulator 10 is activated with connection of source 2 and load 3. Periodic switching on of this unit provides for pulse regulation of current of power supply source 2. Voltage across capacitors 11 drops in interval of power take- off by pulse regulator 10 and it grows at moment of pause forming by that voltage form close to saw-tooth one. Voltage across output of current pickup 4 is directly proportional to current output by source. Signal from current pickup 4 and voltage across source 2 go to power calculator 5 that is why signal proportional to momentary value of output power of source is obtained across output of calculator.
