GEAR OPENING UP ELECTRONIC DEVICES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: gear opening up electronic devices is made of running unit, bellows, needle-punch passed through guiding hole, flange for attachment to vacuum system and clamp. Clamp consist of two parts which are inverse images of each other, annular groove for installation of registering rings and axial hole to match outer diameter of pin of exhaust tube of examined electronic device. Clamp is put on mandrel with collar where pressure nut with location ring and coupling nut are located. Coupling nut is meant to transfer tightening force to clamp. Ring of mandrel has chamfer, edge of cylindrical collar rests against conical generatrix of chamfer. Vacuum-tight connection between gear opening up electronic devices and tested device runs over collar. Guiding hole for passage of needle-punch is made in mandrel uniaxially to axis of exhaust tube for execution of reciprocating motions by needle- punch.
