FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring biparietal size of fetus head and transverse diameter of the cerebellum at the 12 to 35 weeks pregnancy period. Prognosis coefficient is calculated as ratio of the biparietal size and transverse diameter of the cerebellum. The coefficient value being equal to 2 (+/-0.1) at the time of 12-14 weeks, normal fetus brain development is considered to be the case. Increased or reduced value of the coefficient shows anomalous fetus brain development causing fetus central nervous system diseases development in future period.
