FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and fetal surgery. It is followed by a late drug-induced miscarriage in the patient at age of 20–21 weeks. Pseudo-uterus of an elastic ball is created with dimensions approximating to 20–22 weeks of gestation. Slot 7–8 cm long is made in the pseudo-uterus for abortus to be placed therein; the slot is hermetically sealed by means of clamps. Trocars are introduced into the cavity; carbon dioxide is fed into the pseudo-uterus by an insufflation at pressure of 12 mm Hg. Using soft clamps, the fetus is moved to a position in which developmental defect is achievable for operators. Myelomeningocele is dissected by scissors and nervous tissue is released from surrounding tissues. After damage is closed, carbon dioxide is removed with simultaneous filling of cavity of pseudo-uterus with warm solution of Ringer. Incision is closed with non-absorbable 5-0 suture material.

EFFECT: method enables performing intrauterine surgical skills of spinal cerebral hernia correction without endangering maternal and fetal life on the abortus using a pseudo-uterus and endoscopic instruments.
