SUBSTANCE: antral expander has working surface provided with cutting faces and handle which is narrowing and joining working end at an angle of 90 deg. Working end is narrowing to section corresponding to half of the section at bending point. Cutting faces are extending in longitudinal direction and positioned on surface which are laterally continued with smooth flat round surface. Expander of such construction used for surgical intervention on temporal bone allows entrance into antrum to be atraumatically enlarged by removing superior side walls of antrum entrance.
