FIELD: diet nutrition. SUBSTANCE: agent is millet grain extract prepared by treating ground grains with nonpolar extractant followed by isolation of desired product and concentration. Method is distinguished by that millet grain particles are treated with solvent at ratio 1:(2-4) at 40-70 C. After 12 doses of agent administered, body weight increase is threefold inhibited and, after 24 doses, twofold in average. EFFECT: enhanced lipid metabolism control efficiency. 10 cl, 2 tbl
