SUBSTANCE: described is steel which comprises, wt %: carbon, 0.4-0.5; manganese 12.5-14.0; silicon, 0.3-0.9; chromium, 5.0- 6.0; nickel, 6.0-7.0; vanadium, 0.65-1.0; molybdenum, 0.2-0.6 copper, 0.1-0.4; boron, 0.002-0.006; cerium, 0.005-0.08; niobium carbides, 0.05- 0.15; and iron, the balance. EFFECT: greater strength properties, increased wear resistance, crack resistance and reduced magnetic permeability. 2 tbl
