FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel injection pump has housing with supply space, fuel feed channels in number equal to number of engine cylinders and sleeve with inner space. Plunger-distributor is placed in inner space of sleeve for reciprocation and rotary displacement and is provided with side surface on which distributing slot is formed. The slot is in constant communication with working chamber through axial channel. Cyclic delivery meter is arranged on plunger-distributor in zone of cutoff holes in supply space and is provided with filler valve installed for reciprocation. Housing of filler valve is installed with possibility of thrusting against end surface of sleeve. Working chamber and supply space communicate through fuel line which is furnished with fine fuel filter. Shutoff mechanism is installed in filter housing. EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of pump, increased service life of plunger pair owing to new organization of working chamber filling process and more effective cleaning of fuel. 8 cl, 2 dwg
