FIELD: gravimeters, seismographs, accelerometers, and vibratory converters. SUBSTANCE: sensing element has flexible member formed by overhanging fiber light guides, inertia mass mounted on flexible-member light guides, at least one optically coupled pair of transmitting and receiving fiber light guides of which one is incorporated in flexible member. Second light guide of optically coupled pair may be also incorporated in flexible member. Light guides of the latter may be made in the form of planar or three-dimensional figure. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture, enlarged dynamic range. 2 cl, 5 dwg
