FIELD: gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention provides manganese oxide as active component, iron and/or copper, and/or chromium, and/or tungsten oxides as promoters, aluminum oxide as binding component, and kaolin as plasticizer. Powders of all components are mixed, homogenized, and peptized to give plastic paste. The latter is extruded and extrudates are subjected to heat treatment, dried, calcined in oxidative atmosphere, and then reduced under hydrogen.
