FIELD: methods of processing solid household wastes. SUBSTANCE: method includes direction of solid household wastes for classification with their subsequent packing by pressing method. In so doing, combined packing of classification tailings and solid household wastes is carried out to have classification tailings in mixture of wastes from 25 to 75%. Subject to packing may also be classification tailings with depth of classification of initial solid household wastes regulated by yield of useful product within 4-25%. EFFECT: higher efficiency of technological operations involved in processing of solid household wastes due to withdrawal from them of valuable components and reduced expenditures for wastes disposal. 2 cl, 2 dwg
