FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: integrated method comprises sorting of waste and thermal and biothermal treatment of sorting products. Wastes of residential and nonresidential sectors are sorted separately to obtain valuable components, semifinished products, and tailing garbage. Residential sector waste is consecutively subjected to: magnetic separation to recover ferrous metals into magnetic fraction; separation of nonmagnetic fraction including fibrous and film components; primary riddling of separation tailings to give oversize and undersize products; air separation of undersize product to give light and heavy fractions; magnetic separation of heavy fraction to recover residual ferrous metals electrodynamic separation of nonmagnetic fraction to recover nonferrous metals; secondary riddling of electrodynamic separation tailings thereby obtaining oversize and undersize products.
