FIELD: aluminium cells designed for lengthwise arrangement in housing for electrolysis. SUBSTANCE: busbars system includes cathode busbars arranged along lengthwise sides of electrolyzer and having cathode rods connected with anode busbars of next-row electrolyzer by means of struts, cross connection busbars in end portions of anode busbars of next electrolyzer. Two busbars of circuit for compensating influence of magnetic field of adjacent row and for optimization of cross magnetic field are arranged near electrolyzer. One of said busbars is placed directly near cathode busbars along lengthwise side of electrolyzer opposite relative to adjacent row of electrolyzers in such a way that electric current in said busbar flows in direction opposite to series electric current. Other busbar is placed under bottom of electrolyzer in parallel to lengthwise axis, electric current in said busbar flows in the same direction as series electric current. Portion of compensation busbar arranged along lengthwise side is placed in melt level. Both busbars of compensation circuit are electrically insulated from busbars system of electrolyzer. Compensation circuit is connected with separate power source. EFFECT: simultaneous compensation of influence of magnetic field of adjacent row of electrolyzers and symmetry of cross magnetic field in melt. 4 cl, 3 dwg
