FIELD: thermal engineering; off-line heat-and- power generating plants. SUBSTANCE: power plant depends for its operation on conversion of direct-cycle energy of Stirling or internal-combustion engine into electricity for heat and power generation to feed stationary and mobile loads. Running engine 1 produces useful energy converted into electrical energy by means of power generator 3 mounted on same shaft. Cooling circuit 20 communicating through heat-transfer apparatus 14 with external heat- supply system is provided to cool engine 1. Water coming from return line 13 is partially conveyed to steam generator 4 that passes exhaust-gas line 23 and some portion is passed to steam-water pump-heater unit. High-pressure steam produced by steam generator 4 is first supplied to heat-transfer apparatus that functions as steam heater 5, then it is expanded in steam turbine 6 which drives generator 7 to produce electrical energy; then steam is conveyed to steam- water pump-heater unit wherein it is mixed up with water coming from line 18 to produce high-pressure and high-temperature water. Hot water is fed due to high pressure to heat loads 10 over line 12 and further circulates through lines 13, 15, 18. Control valves 16, 19 and check valve 17 are provided to control water direction and flow through lines. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, reduced size and mass of plant as a whole. 1 dwg
