FIELD: railway transport; power supply; laying or repair of contact systems. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary assembling of cantilevers before mounting on poles, with installation of movable fasteners in position depending on overall dimensions of pole with subsequent lifting and mounting of cantilevers on poles. Prior to assembling cantilevers for each pole, its overall dimensions and angle of tilting in plane square to track axis are measured and, basing on results obtained, positions of adjustable fasteners on carrying members are determined for each cantilever. Then cantilevers are assembled with fitting of adjustable fasteners in designed position, after which cantilevers are lifted on poles and mounted at designed distance on pole from rail head level mark. Position of adjustable fasteners moved along carrying members for each cantilever is calculated separately by formula. EFFECT: reduced time taken for mounting cantilevers in process of reconstruction of electrified railways especially in case of operative mounting during time limited delay periods. 3 cl, 2 tbl, 2 dwg
