FIELD: agriculture, phytopathology. SUBSTANCE: fresh fruits gathered in ripening period are washed thoroughly, placed in Petri dishes on filter paper surface that is wetted with catholyte preliminary in the weight ratio berries to catholyte 1:12. Petri dishes are placed under conditions of optimal temperature for fungus colonies formation. Mycelium and spores formation is occurred for some hours if pathogen presents on fruits. Fruits remain to be nondamaged in the absence of pathogen or other fungi develops on fruits. Catholyte stimulates seedling pathogens actively, for example, fungi Botrytis cinerea Pers., Rhizopus spp. Proposed method ensures to see mycelium and/or fungus sporogenesis on fruits in 5 h after fruits placing. Species fungus is identified by microscopy method. EFFECT: decreased time of pathogens detection, enhanced reliability of results. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
