FIELD: phytopathology, horticulture. SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment of garden cultures to be tested by at least three series of unidirectional magnetic induction pulses in the ratio number of pulses in series = 13: 21: 34, respectively. Amplitude value of magnetic induction is 0.05 Tl, period is 5.12 s, pulse period-to-pulse duration ratio is from 100 to 4500. Time interval between second and third series of pulses is twice as much of time interval between first and second series of pulses. Method ensures to enhance fungus mycelium growth rate in tested plants and enhanced reliability of results. Invention can be used in agriculture for evaluation of garden cultures infectivity with simplest fungi. EFFECT: improved method of detection. 2 tbl
