FIELD: pipe calibration unit designed for calibration of outside or inside diameter of extruded plastic articles, such as pipes. SUBSTANCE: the pipe calibration unit has a calibration tube and a controllable calibration means for adjustment of the calibration tube diameter. The calibration tube is made in the form of a number of tightly adjoining split ring members. The slots of the ring members are distributed in the periphery relative to one another in such a way that tube in the axial direction has a closed tubular shape. The controllable calibration means is installed in the tube length and can have an effect on all the ring members at a time for adjustment of the working diameters of these members. EFFECT: improved calibration and cooling of extruded pipe, whose diameter may be adjusted simply and quickly within a certain range. 5 cl, 2 dwg
