FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation of chemical-engineering processes and can be utilized in production of oxyethylenated alkylphenols suitable for petroleum processing, textile and paper-and-pulp industries. Process is governed by stabilizing consumption of alkylphenols, ethylene oxide, alkali, acetic acid as well as temperature by means of changing amount of steam fed into reactor jacket. For that purpose, following equipment is additionally installed: dimensionless mixers for alkali and alkylphenols, acetic acid and oxyethylenated alkylphenols with guiding blades before and after reactor; tanks for alkali and acetic acid solutions; quality control transducers for alkaline alkylphenols and neutralized oxyethylenated alkylphenols mounted on pipelines transferring alkaline alkylphenols to reactor and neutralized oxyethylenated alkylphenols to finished product storage; valves on pipelines for transferring alkali and acetic acid into dimensionless mixers having guiding blades. Quality of alkaline alkylphenols and neutralized oxyethylenated alkylphenols is controlled. When the former deviates from specified value, level in alkali solution tank is properly adjusted by affecting valve on pipeline transferring alkali to dimensionless alkali- alkylphenol mixer. When quality of neutralized oxyethylenated alkylphenols deviates from specified value, level in acetic acid tank is properly adjusted by affecting valve on pipeline transferring acetic acid to dimensionless mixer for acetic acid and oxyethylenated alkylphenols. Alkali solution is fed into connection pipe disposed after guiding blades in dimensionless mixer and acetic acid is fed into pipeline transferring oxyethylenated alkylphenols to dimensionless mixer. Guiding blades are regularly installed over the perimeter of dimensionless mixers at angle 30 deg. to vertical plane. Number of blades in alkali-alkylphenol mixer is six combined into single set, whereas mixer for acetic acid and oxyethylenated alkylphenols has 3 such sets consisting of 18 blades arranged regularly over the mixer length. Ratio of areas of cross-sections of the above-named mixers (respectively) is 1:1.55. EFFECT: increased quality of product and reduced power consumption. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
