FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method used, for example, to protect pipelines involves drilling-out set of holes of definite depth spaced through definite distance apart along pipeline route, sampling soil air used to find presence of thoron, radon, and corrosion gases, and separating abnormal areas. After that several closed circular grooves are made through depth down to undistorted bedrock along pipeline with supports; then grooves are filled with non-solidifying viscous material and several holes are made under pipeline supports to receive shells for piles, free space between shells and piles is filled with non-solidifying viscous material. EFFECT: improved protection of surface pipeline from periodic ground movements within fractures of geodynamic areas. 2 cl, 2 dwg
