FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine is designed for converting reciprocating motion of piston into shaft rotation. Machine has housing with cylinder and two-piston rod with blind central holes on ends, communicating with rod spaces through ports, two power mechanisms for converting reciprocating motion of pistons into rotation of driven shaft. These mechanisms are provided with eccentric bushings installed for rotation in opposite directions and mechanically coupled with rod and with shaft. Cylinder has central partition with holes made square to each other. Two power mechanisms are installed in one of holes at two sides of rod. Power mechanisms are mechanically coupled to each other and to rod by means of pin. Two ring spaces are made in partition. Ring spaces communicate with pump and, through nozzles, with rod spaces. Spherical cavities are made in pistons opposite to nozzles. Space between mechanisms is placed alternately in communication with rodless spaces through blind holes and ports in rod, and rod spaces are placed in turn in communication with atmosphere. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability. 4 dwg
