FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport engineering; stationary plants for driving generators, compressors, etc. SUBSTANCE: piston machine has housing with opposite cylinders accommodating two-piston rods coupling pistons with journals of crankshaft consisting of two parts mechanically interconnected for displacement square to plane of rod movement and mounted in eccentric bushings coupled with drive through gear-shaft and installed in housing for coaxial rotation of both bushings in opposite directions. Eccentric bushings differ in diameter. Outer surface of larger bushing is provided with teeth, and smaller eccentric bushing is installed without possibility of axial travel in blind central hole of larger eccentric bushing. Mechanical coupling of crankshaft parts is provided by axle fitted in holes of extreme webs of both parts of crankshaft. Each rod is made hollow and is provided with intake and outlet valves installed at its both ends. Ports made in cylinder walls are designed for alternate connection of rodless spaces at one side of cylinders with exhaust manifold. Rodless spaces at other side communicate with intake manifold through valves. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions. 3 cl, 4 dwg
