FIELD: heating. SUBSTANCE: the plate-type heat exchanger has a great number of rectangular plates and intermediate spacers squeezed in a pack. At least two diagonally opposite angles of each plate in the pack have deepened angular sections that are connected to the plate inner surface in a concave curvature line. The external profile of the deepened angular section of the plate in the pack is in a forced engagement with the internal profile of the deepened angular section of the next plate in the pack. It ensures matching of the pack both during assembly and during the subsequent use.
