FIELD: determination of structural and stratigraphic peculiarities in three dimensions. SUBSTANCE: records of seismic signal in the form of seismic paths within specified three-dimensional volume of subsurface space are obtained, three-dimensional space is divided along vertical into aggregate of separate sections and amplitudes of seismic records in the form of surfaces are visualized. In process of three-dimensional division along vertical line into aggregate of separate sections reference paleogeoisochronous surfaces are found, spacing of selection of paleogeoisochronous surfaces of section of data cube between reference surfaces ensuring identical spacing of paleogeoisochronous surfaces of section between each two reference paleogeoisochronous surfaces independent of configuration of reference paleogeoisochronous surfaces is set and data cube is formed from collection of paleogeoisochronous surfaces during full investigated geological time. Average value of parameters of seismic record over entire paleogeoisochronous surface is found to determine form of position of sedimentation bodies and most probable sites of location of deposits, changes of parameters of seismic record are analyzed by paleogeoisochronous surfaces and geological interpretation of data is carried out by difference between starting parameters of seismic record and their average values. EFFECT: improved quality of analysis of seismic data and of visualization of parameters of reflected waves in form enabling sedimentation bodies of unspecified form and differentiating by physical properties to be distinguished directly. 4 cl, 8 dwg
