FIELD: oil and gas geology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas geology and can be used for detecting and localising prospective oil and gas zones and objects. Disclosed method involves seismic works on a network of crossing pools of regional profiles, as well as formation of composite profiles from previously used 2D aerial systems, drilling, well survey and testing of wells and their complex structural interpretation with construction of main structural maps based on reflecting horizons and thickness map between them. Method involves performing complex geophysical interpretation of drilling and well survey data at target complexes of deposits with establishment of main types of geologic section and their lithological, sedimentation and capacitance properties, as well as their correlation with reference parameters and attributes of seismic survey. Structural frame of regional seismic cube, including structural maps of main reflecting horizons and thickness maps between them. For each target complex of deposits constructing seismic passport of basin, representing a sequence of all seismic traces, obtained in a basin at regional and composite profiles, ordered in ascending or descending thickness of target complex deposits. Calculating a correlation matrix of seismic passport and on selected thereon zones of homogeneity, establishing boundaries of types of geologic section, transfer thereof from seismic passport to initial coordinates of investigated territory, thereby constructing a map of types of geologic section, and, by performing two-dimensional convolution of seismic passport of basin with its map of types, obtaining a volumetric regional seismic cube, strictly matched with a structural frame of basin, based on which is constructed a set paleocubes derived therefrom at main setting complexes, cubes of seismic attributes and sequence of stratigraphic cubes, interactively scanning which along their vertical and horizontal sections, seismic structures and dynamic anomalies are selected, ranking of which according to size, according to association with a defined type of section and a set of geological properties on wells, including capacitive properties of deposits, correlatively integrated with reference seismic attributes, oil and gas zones and objects of investigated basin are detected.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of exploration work at regional and search stages.
