FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out multi-stage testing applying tasks of various complexity level aimed at retaining vertical body position modeling in this way various amount of information received by the testee. Trajectory of moving center of the human body pressure applied to stabilographic platform is measured and recorded at every test stage. Then the trajectory of the human body pressure center motion (statokinesiogram) is analyzed by applying vector analysis methods. All vector apices are marked as points on the statokinesiogram coordinate axis, their starting points are transferred to the coordinate system origin. The so built vector value point cloud is divided into several zones by drawing concentric circles of equal area. The number of vectors belonging to each zone is calculated. Relative frequency of vector apex occurrence in each zone is calculated. Cumulative relative frequency plot showing the dependence on the ordinal zone number is built. The so produced plot is approximated with exponential function of the f(n)=1- λ pattern. The eλn coefficient is interpreted as an index describing equilibrium function quality. This integral stabilographic index is calculated for every test stage. The greater is the equilibrium function quality index, the better is human equilibrium quality. Conclusions concerning the general human functional state are drawn by comparing the obtained values of the equilibrium function quality index to a set of predefined values or intervals of the values. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in evaluating working capacity level and equilibrium function; objective evaluation of general state of patients with different diseases. 3 cl, 2 dwg
