FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves testing a patient on stabilographic platform and using vector analysis of statokinesiogram. Vector value cloud is subdivided by means of a set of concentric circles of equal area into several zones. The number of vector ends belonging to a zone and relative frequency of the vector ends occurring in a zone are calculated. Cumulative vector ends relative frequency plot depending on sequential zone number is built. The relationship has exponential nature and is approximated by f(n)=1 - e^λn, where λ, is the coefficient describing curve steepness that is interpreted as index showing quality of equilibrium function.
