FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: posturographic platform is used for testing, which involves doing vertical posture maintaining exercises. Doing each exercise involves measuring vibration signals of projections of pressure centres in a horizontal plane in two mutually perpendicular directions, and an ataxy type is diagnosed. Measuring the vibration signals of the projections of the pressure centres is combined with measuring calves electromyograms, electrocardiogram and electroencephalogram An additive trend is removed from the prepared posturographic signals, and residues are used to evaluate discrete two-channel auto-regression second-order model parameters, and amplitude, medium and median powers of myograms; the electrocardiogram shows a heart rate and PQ, QS, QT lengths, a maximum power of the electroencephalogram spectrum and the respective frequency. The derived set of the informative values are classified by the statistical procedure of linear discriminant analysis.

EFFECT: method enables providing higher reliability of the diagnostic results of individual's locomotor disorders as shown by the posturographic studies by the complex assessment of the significant values.
