FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vessel for liquid to be cleaned, endless chain type magnetic separator disposed in vessel and equipped with magnetic rods, magnetic rod cleaning device, cleaned liquid discharge branch pipe positioned within endless chain of magnetic separator. At least one auxiliary endless chain magnetic separators is positioned within main endless chain type magnetic separator. Auxiliary magnetic separators are equipped with magnetic rods and devices for cleaning magnetic rods. Air supply system is combined with contaminated liquid supply branch pipes positioned in lower part of vessel for liquid adapted to be cleaned. Apparatus may be used for cleaning of cutting liquids and other process liquids from mechanical foreign matter. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 1 dwg
