FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for cleaning of cutting fluids and other process liquids from mechanical admixtures. The device has a tank for liquid to be cleaned and chain magnetic separator positioned inside tank. Magnetic separator is provided with magnetic rods, cleaner of magnetic rods and endless chain which part is of zigzag form. Spaces between axes of adjacent zigzag parts of magnetic separator branch are different. In zone of contaminated liquid inflow these spaces are larger than in zone of cleaned liquid removal.
