FIELD: manufacture of rolled bars, namely, making round rods of titanium base alloys with increased resistance to plastic deformation. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of hot rolling of blank with deformation rate (0.5 -10) 1/s at relation of axes of oval grooved pass b/h=1.4-1.75 and at curvature radius of grooved pass along its height less than diameter of blank guided to grooved pass. Circumferential speed of rolling along bottom of grooved pass of upper roll is higher than circumferential speed of rolling along bottom of grooved pass of lower roll by (0.4 -0.5)%. Rolled bar is made of titanium base alloy. EFFECT: possibility for rolling high quality round rods of titanium base alloy without surface flaws and with fine equiaxial structure. 3 cl, 2 dwg
