FIELD: rolled stock production, namely processes for making thin sheets, mainly of hard-to-form titanium-base alloys by pack rolling. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of hot rolling of packs at heat deformation parameters providing uniform-compression deformation of case and sheets; providing necessary temperature range at rolling by cyclically heating up and stabilizing it with use of heat-insulation linings of case; at assembling pack, using release coating with thermal decomposition temperature no less than temperature of hot rolling of pack; combining heat treatment of pack with technological heating for smoothing out and straightening pack; cutting out pack by hydroabrasive cutting process; subjecting sheets to heat treatment and straightening, mainly in vacuum furnace in creep condition; dressing sheet surface at combining procedures of hydroabrasive treatment, local and(or) continuous abrasive treatment and acidic etching in order to receive single-tone surface. Method provides guaranteed removal of deformation-hardened surface layer and isotropic texture of sheet surface.
