WATER ELECTROLYZER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: physical methods of purification of water by electrolysis, saturation of drinkable, medicinal and domestic water and liquid foodstuffs with silver to impart it with bactericidal and preservative properties. SUBSTANCE: water electrolyzer has enclosure, two tubular vessels anchored on lower base of enclosure, intercommunicating through holes in side surfaces and fitted with branch pipes and electrodes coupled to source of electric energy. Tubular non- conducting vessels are mounted coaxially and are closed by flanges which are fixed by peripheral ties of base of enclosure. Electric holder matched with central tubular vessel is anchored in upper base of enclosure. Inlet branch pipe of tubular vessel communicates with holes in its side surface through circular annular groove of electric holder and axial clearance between flat silver electrodes of variable polarity. Additional inlet branch pipe into outer tubular vessel is installed in lower base of enclosure on side opposite to its outlet branch pipe. EFFECT: interchangeability of working expendable elements of electrolyzer; higher productivity of bactericidal treatment of water by ions of silver for preparation of pure water with increased operational and consumer qualities. 2 dwg
