METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF BATH FOR JET WASHING OF PARTS, SUCH AS PLATES, PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS IN PARTICULAR Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2166005 C1

FIELD: manufacture of baths for jet washing of parts both in stationary bays and transfer (mechanized) lines of galvanochemical treatment of electronic equipment. SUBSTANCE: method includes molding rectangular reservoir by welding or casting which has double-inclined bottom with drain hole, side and end walls and placing the distributing manifolds in upper portion of reservoir; distributing manifolds are provided with parallel jet forming units arranged in staggered order and pipe lines which are open in width and height of treatment zone; these pipe lines are connected with cleaning liquid supply manifolds and drain pipe lines; reservoir is made in form of several modules articulated in succession over end and side walls, viz.: technological module having double-inclined bottom with drain hole and used for placed the hanger with printed circuit boards inside it; intensive jet washing module used for laying distributing manifolds with jet forming units arranged under manifolds in staggered order and pipe lines open in width and height of treatment zone; low- pressure liquid and/or air jet treatment module which is also used for entrapping splashes and drops of working medium; this module has additional members for forming parallel jets of working medium which are mounted above respective distributing manifolds; module is also provided with guides for draining splashes and drops of working medium; reservoir is also provided with cover made in form of shaped flange with port whose sizes coincide with sizes of treatment zone in reservoir; distributing manifolds are mounted before articulation of intensive washing module with low-pressure liquid and/or air jet treatment module; upper and lower edges of end walls of these modules are provided with through slots of respective profile; pipe lines open in width and height of treatment zone are formed from L- shaped members located on lateral sides of intensive jet washing module and rigidly connected with end walls of this module on end side; lower surface is connected with guides used for articulation of intensive jet washing module and provided with drain holes for discharge of entrapped unused jets for reuse; modules, their components and cover of reservoir may be manufactures by means of molding, bonding and/or mechanical fastening of surfaces with the use of milling procedure for making holes, slots and port of shaped flange. EFFECT: extended technological and functional capabilities; enhanced unification and reliability; reliable protection of equipment against splashes; reduced usage of materials required for manufacture of bath. 5 cl, 2 dwg
