FIELD: mining industry, particularly, coal industry for ventilation of mine development workings and breakage faces. SUBSTANCE: method is characterized by the fact that atmospheric air with subzero temperature is supplied to network of heat-exchange workings with increased surface of heat exchange due to utilization of depth processes of geothermal transfer. Geothermal is retained in rocks surrounding mine working. Heat conduction of rocks is increased by injection of water at initial period of winter season into rocks surrounding the heat-exchange workings. Efficiency of heat-transfer process is increased due to installation of heat conducting anchors over perimeter of heat-exchanger workings. Air is moved to network of crosscut coal boreholes where air is additionally heated due to heat exchange and coal oxidation until it attains positive temperature and supplied to active workings. Anchors are of variable length. Installed in entrance zone of heat-exchange workings are anchors with length no less of average radius of workings, and length of other anchors are equal to at least 2-5 radii of working. EFFECT: considerable reduction of expenses for ventilation due to abandoning of artificial heating of air supplied to mines during winter season. 3 cl, 2 dwg
