FIELD: mining industry; applicable, particularly, in coal mining industry for mine ventilation. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of atmospheric air with subzero temperature to mine, continuous introduction into air flow, over its entire cross-section of mine water by jet injectors in sprayed state to perform heat exchange up to attaining temperature of treated air of plus 2 C, and direction of heated air to operating mine workings. Water accumulated in air-supplying duct is gathered and supplied to storage sump for subsequent heating due to utilization of depth processes of heat transfer of geothermal energy from rocks surrounding the sump. Mine water is taken from sump located below haulage horizon of mined block of coal seam. Use is made of mine water accumulated from all mined block of coal seams. EFFECT: sharp reduction of expenditures for mine ventilation due to exclusion of artificial process of air heating supplied to mine in winter period. 3 cl, 1 dwg
