This method includes the development of coal seams to the depth of the efficiency of the open method of coal mining, preparation and testing of seams in the sides of the log by the underground method, arranging flank ventilation shafts and / or wells connected by ventilation ducts with underground and open mine workings, geothermal heating of air due to the energy of the Earth in winter. In the preparation and development of mine fields in the sides of the mine, the ventilation of underground mine workings is carried out in two stages: at first, during the preparation and mining of reservoirs to a depth of 100–150 m, the underground workings are aired by temporary ventilation systems located on the windward side of the log sides, on which flexible or rigid air ducts are fixed to supply air to clearing and preparatory faces. Spent jet is discharged through the open space and the connections into the ventilation openings, and then into the log’s open space. At the second stage, the ventilation is carried out from stationary ventilation installations located on the flank ventilation shafts and / or wells and operating independently of each other.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce energy consumption due to the lack of heaters for heating the air in winter time, increasing the efficiency of ventilation of mining systems and simplification of ventilation schemes due to direct-flow and / or reciprocating ventilation of cleaning and preparatory faces.
